Our keynote speaker, JoNell Gerland, has been involved in ministry in various capacities since 1980.  She served an international women’s ministry for over twenty years at every level of leadership from the local arena to the International Board.  She served many years on the U.S. Board as a director with her particular area of expertise being leadership development.  Leadership in her opinion is simply servanthood and she sees it as one of her highest privileges…serving her Lord and His people.

She is an ordained minister of the gospel through Dutch Sheets’ ministry of Colorado Springs.  She has served on several international boards and continues today as well as various committees given to building the Kingdom of God globally.

JoNell has the same struggles, joys, concerns and sorrows and, sharing in your weakness and possibly some of your strengths, she is the most ordinary of women.  She has, however, entrusted herself to her Lord, Who is in all things truly extraordinary.

Possibly her favorite scripture is John 17:3, “this is eternal life, (it means) to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with and understand) You, the only true and real God...”  Those words have transformed her life, her concept of salvation.  The Lord Himself wants us to know salvation today, a living hope, not a distant reality!  This awesome privilege is ours, we can know this Jesus…He is our Savior and Lord.

With a passion for the Word of God and a story teller’s heart, she will open the scriptures in prophetic parables.  You will find yourself in the story and yet find Jesus to be the Lord of your story…which will minister encouragement, new life, hope and expectancy.

JoNell founded Treasure in Clay International in 2000 with a heart to build the Kingdom of God, not an organization.  Her desire is to seek out treasure hidden in darkness, ministering to those who are bound and see freedom, the liberty God desires for His people, established in hearts and minds around this globe.

With a heart for people, missions, the persecuted church and desire to see the love of Christ revealed to a lost and dying world, she is partners with various ministries to take the Gospel into dark corners of the world.

Her heart’s desire would be to see each person come to know Him, know His unconditional love, His plan and purpose for their life and growing into the treasure God has created each uniquely to be as we enjoy Him and the journey along the way.  She has a heart for unity, to see the body of Christ united in our Lord and His purposes.  As we become the people of God as He intended, walking as one with Him, we will become the clear representation of Jesus a hurting world so desperately longs for and desires to see.

JoNell is available for conferences, seminars and leadership development, both sacred and secular.
