Our Vision Statement
A community that believes life in Christ is a true adventure and embraces who He has made us to be!
Together, we CAN do this. We WILL do this as we move in obedience, for the joy of the Lord is our strength!
THIS IS YOUR AGLOW!
Our Mission Statement
- Proclaim the Love of God, Salvation through Jesus Christ, and the Power of Holy Spirit.
- Provide a place of sactuary where you can experience the presence of God in an atmosphere of expectation for Holy Spirit, were there is freedom in Jesus Christ, and where needs are met through prayer and praise.
- Prepare for changing times.
- Present opportunities to equip others to grow in their gifts, and for community outreach.
Leadership Team
Our leadership team is a group of dedicated women seeking a deeper relationship with God and passionate about developing and training new ministry leaders.
Our team was put together by God for such a time as this. Not perfect, but each with their own gifts and strengths, drawing from each other in prayer to fulfill the will of God in our Aglow Lighthouse.
Our leadership team is surrendered to being led by Holy Spirit in this strategic revival time on the earth.
Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Ecclesiastes 4:9-10...

Mary Rasmussen, V.P. of Adminstration
Mary was born and raised on a Montana farm, the oldest of 14 children. She was married to her husband Ron for 52 -1/2 years until he graduated to heaven. They had lived in Montana and Colorado before moving to Reno over 40 years ago. Their family includes 2 daughters and their spouses; 4 grandchildren and their 3 spouses and 3 great grandchildren, all living in the Reno area. Her life is very full with all the children and a large yard and garden to care for. In the past, she has worked in the medical field, grocery business, and retired from school food service.
Mary has always loved Jesus and at nineteen had a life changing experience with Him and has been on a journey ever since, searching for more of Him; learning in the last few years that He was right here all the time. She didn't have to be perfect; just turn to Him, trust and believe that His love is enough and that He really cares and has given her the authority to overcome.
She has served in Aglow previously and is excited to see what the Lord has for her in this new season.
Karen Bouteiller - VP Outreach Ministry
Karen has lived in the Reno, Sparks and Lake Tahoe area for 47 years.
She had an encounter with Jesus at eight years old, yet experienced a season of falling away and being caught up in the world. In her early twenties Karen attended an AGLOW retreat, was filled with the Holy Spirit and returned to her first love. From that moment a passion grew for the lost and broken.
Karen studied Psychology, Counseling, Theology and Writing at Multnomah University Bible College and Biblical Seminary.
She has a background in Celebrate Recovery, Elijah House inner healing prayer ministry, John Paul Jackson dream interpretation, teaching, leading women’s groups and youth groups.
Karen loves worship music and playing guitar, the arts, prophetic dancing, photography, computer software, her children, all of her adopted children and family. You can find her at "the farm", with dirt under her nails and feet, or scuba diving. Karen is eternally thankful for the goodness of God and His faithful Word. In all of these beautiful things the majesty of the Creator is exemplified!
Her greatest joy is witnessing the Holy Spirit work in the lives of those in bondage to set them free into His marvelous plan for their lives!
