In an online personal testimony, Dr. Howard Morgan describes his odyssey from a kosher but “not overly religious” Jewish home, through a youthful experimentation with drugs, to an encounter with the living Christ. “A tremendous, overwhelming surge of joy and peace flooded my being, along with a fantastic sense of well-being. I knew that I had touched God, that He was real, and that Jesus was alive!”

Since then, he has planted and pastored churches, engaged in full-time prophetic and teaching ministry, and established and overseen churches and ministries. As Dr. Morgan puts it, God “has led me down different paths and brought me into His work as an international Bible teacher.”

His wife Janet, also a Jewish believer, serves by his side. According to the ministry’s website, she is "the chief administrator of all aspects of their ministries” and “keeps all of the behind the scenes business running smoothly.”

Dr. Morgan is the founder of Howard Morgan Ministries, a prophetic teaching and equipping ministry. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Hunter College, an M.A. in Counseling from New York University, and a Doctorate in Ministry from Logos Graduate School.
