We invite you to join us for our July meeting on Saturday, July 12. The meeting will occur at His Place Worship Center, 1423 Highway 70 West, Marion, North Carolina, and will be broadcast on Facebook Live. (Scroll down for directions to His Place and a link to Marion Aglow's Facebook page.)

The event will begin with breakfast and fellowship at 9:40 am, followed by our regular meeting at 10 am. Activities will include praise and worship led by Paul and Marian Boyd, pastors of His Place Worship Center in Marion, North Carolina. Leandra Lavender, an associate pastor and youth leader at Living Waters Tabernacle in Old Fort, North Carolina, will teach from the Word.

Leandra calls herself “nothing but a tool in God's hand.” She says she is “humbled at the opportunity to be able to speak at Aglow’s July meeting.” She also asks prospective attendees to “pray for me as I study what the Lord has laid upon my heart for this meeting.”

Leandra and her husband, Gary, served as senior pastors of True Holiness Fellowship in Old Fort for 21 years. During the pandemic, True Holiness united with Living Waters Tabernacle in Old Fort. The couple has served as associate pastors and youth directors there for three years.

Leandra was born and raised in Kentucky. She moved to North Carolina with her husband after they married in 2021. The couple has six children.
