Since about this time last year the Lord has had me studying, praying and saturated in Psalm 29, the Voice of the Lord. "Ascribe to the Lord, O sons of the mighty, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in holy array. The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful, the voice of the Lord is majestic.

The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; yes, the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. And the makes Lebanon skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of the Lord hews out flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord makes the deer to calve, and strips the forest bare, and in His temple everything says, "Glory!" The Lord sat as King at the flood; yes, the Lord sits as King forever. The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace."

As you can see His voice shifts things in the natural and of course in the spirit. The voice of the Lord is upon the waters, (out of our belly shall flow rivers of living water), He wants to break up the deep in us so we can echo the deep in Him. The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness. He wants to shake any wilderness in us and remove all wilderness structures in our hearts.

We must be fruitful and a lush garden for all around us to be refreshed from. These are just a couple of powerful portions from this scripture. Dovetail Psalm 29 with Psalm 91 and it is amazing. One very important question to answer right now is what voice are you listening to? What voices are you agreeing with?

If we are allowing the voice of the Lord to thunder in and through us, we will be abiding under the shadow of His wings and nothing shall move us. But if we are listening to fear, intimidation and lies we will be open game for the enemy to steal our peace and hold us captive.

The meaning of Shalom is nothing missing, nothing broken everything made whole. But is also means His Shalom devours all chaos. Let us be the company of women and men who are living under His Shadow and releasing His Peace to devour all chaos around us!

Love and Blessings,
