We will continue meeting in person at our June Fellowship meeting where we will welcome June and Jedwin Smith as our speakers.

The Augusta Evening Aglow did an evangelistic outreach at Target in Augusta on Tuesday, June 23rd at 6:30 pm. We gathered outside Target for a quick prayer and went in with the presence of the Lord. We were believing for miracles to happen and hearts to change.

We prayed for everyone that came within our vicinity- couples, single women, mom and daughter, and even a Target employee. As soon as we started praying, the Lord would give us a prophetic word or word of knowledge for them or an encouragement to give away to bless them. It was a joy to feel the delight of Father God over these lives. They felt so loved and encouraged and thanked us for reaching out to them in this manner. (Matthew 6:8, 18:14, 1 John 3:1)

One specific testimony to share would be that of a man sitting on the side on an aisle with his head down and leaning against his cart. We asked him if it’s ok to pray for him and he gave us permission. The Lord immediately gave and showed us the words “Open door” and “Opportunities”. We started telling him that God wants to possibly give him a new job opportunity and increase his finances. The man’s face lit up and he said, “This is crazy! This is crazy! I just started going back to church and someone said the same thing over me.” We had confirmed what the Lord had already spoken to him through someone else. Hallelujah!!!! (Mark 16:20)

The man called his friend to listen to it for herself and they were both overjoyed and excited! I’m so thankful to the Lord for restoring fresh hope, faith, and love in them that night!! What a wonderful and powerful God we serve!!! All glory and honor to Him alone!

This prayer time is very essential to those who have been involved and to our communities. The prayer time has included the Elberton Aglow Lighthouse board but has expanded and touched people's lives in Franklin County, many parts of Elbert County, upper South Carolina and other parts of Georgia. We are excited in Elberton aglow lighthouse to be serving the Lord for such a time as this!
