This year God is saying we are to be deeply focused on Him – to spend more time individually in the secret place in a deeper way than we ever have before. This includes being still, being quiet, listening, hearing, thanking, worshiping, praising, singing, sharing, weeping, laughing, receiving, cuddling, dancing, writing and everything imaginable one does in private with the Lover of their soul.

He wants us filled with fiery passion for Him on levels we have never experienced, and He wants to make critical deposits into you during these special moments. It’s also a time for us to put a bolder and more courageous voice to His sound within us. He is doing something so spectacular in this new era that we wouldn’t believe if we were told ahead of time.

I keep hearing Him say, “Be still and know that I AM God. I will be exalted in the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10-11 and, “Praise to be My glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with My glory. Amen and amen.” Psalm 72:19 (para). And since Georgia is our home, I choose to read those passages this way, “Be still and know I AM God. I will be exalted in all of Georgia.

The whole State will praise My glorious name and I will fill Georgia with My glory. Amen and amen.” This is the time we have been strategically and indefinitely to the wall as watchmen. This is the election year and we are in a battle for our Republic like never before. We must not get lazy, complacent or slack….it is too dangerous a time to let our guard down.

We are not in training, we are equipped and we have been deployed! Suit up, my friends, each morning with the armor of God and feast on His word. Take your position on the wall as God’s watchmen of Georgia and our nation, and wait for instructions. Keep your sword in one hand and a tool in the other. And lastly, pray for one another and look out for one another… we all need a strong covering.

This is what soldiers do and this is what we do as Georgia’s Army of Aglow. No warrior left behind!
