Local Lighthouses
Jesus says in Matthew 18:19-20, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” That means there is power in agreement and unity. When we join together in prayer, we see God move in mighty ways.
Aglow Lighthouses are hyper-local groups of women from all walks of life who share a common passion: To see God’s promises fulfilled in their area!
What is the difference between a Community Lighthouse and a Neighborhood Lighthouse?
Community lighthouses are open to everyone in the community. They focus on finding a need in the community and uniting together to meet that need.
Neighborhood Lighthouses are as simple as Bible studies or time spent together with people who have a common interest. The goal of a neighborhood lighthouse is to draw in those far from God and help attendees grow in their walk with the Lord.
These lighthouses reach people in a specific neighborhood or on a special invitation list. Additionally, these groups are a source of spiritual growth for all members. As believers, we’re called to live in community and to encourage one another daily (Hebrews 3:13). So, when we come together to pray, we build unity within the body of Christ.
